# Abstract

Validity gadgets strives to achieve predictive validity on a dynamically available chain like Bitcoin using a synchronous BFT network. All validators send their view of Bitcoin's recent block and run 2/3 attestations to validate the block. With enough redundancy, any forks in the network should be detected. This allows Twilight to confirm deposits in 2 block time than the widely accepted 6 block time.
